Youth Badminton Coaching

Age : min. 6 – 18 years

Our Youth Programme is designed to inspire and empower young players through structured, age-appropriate training. With guidance from experienced coaches, students develop strong fundamentals, enhance their technique, and grow both in confidence and discipline. Whether they’re just starting out or preparing for competitions, this program offers a fun, supportive environment where every young athlete can thrive and fall in love with the game.

Adult Badminton Coaching

Age : 19 years & above

Our Adult Programme offers an inclusive and supportive environment for players of all levels—from complete beginners to seasoned enthusiasts. Whether you’re picking up a racquet for the first time or looking to sharpen your technique, our structured training sessions and personalized coaching are designed to help you progress confidently, improve your fitness, and enjoy the fast-paced excitement of badminton.

Attire & Schedule for Badminton Classes

Absolutely! To ensure a comfortable and safe learning experience, here’s what we recommend:

1. Academy Teamwear: 

Wearing the team T-shirt to lessons fosters a sense of unity and belonging.

2. Proper Sports Attire:

We advise wearing proper sports shorts or track bottoms for your practice sessions. These provide the flexibility and freedom of movement you need to excel in badminton.

3. Badminton Shoes:

Investing in a pair of dedicated badminton shoes is essential. These shoes are designed with non-marking soles, ensuring a good grip on the court without leaving any marks. They also offer the necessary support for the quick lateral movements characteristic of badminton.

4. Sports Socks:

Wearing suitable sports socks is essential for added comfort and to prevent blisters. Opt for socks that provide cushioning and breathability.

For your convenience, we offer these recommended clothing and footwear options at both our onsite and online store. This makes it easy for you to access the right gear that suits your needs. By adhering to these clothing and footwear suggestions, you’ll not only enhance your overall learning experience but also minimize the risk of injury.

Yes, badminton lessons are held on most public holidays, except during festive holidays. We observe a training break of seven (7) days each for Chinese New Year and Hari Raya. However, our centre remains open for practice sessions on your own.

Badminton Coaching and Class Details

Our badminton classes maintain a small group size to ensure focused attention and quality instruction. Typically, there are a maximum of 6 students per coach in a one-hour class. This setup allows for effective learning and individualized guidance.

Our priority is to provide uninterrupted classes. If a coach falls ill or has personal commitments, we arrange for another coach to step in temporarily. All our coaches are trained in the same steps and techniques, although they might have their own unique style. This ensures your classes continue smoothly without disruption, maintaining the quality of instruction.

Certainly! We offer hassle-free badminton class changes. If you need to reschedule, simply make changes at least 72 hours before your scheduled booking via your customer portal, and your lesson credit will be automatically credited back to your account, valid for 30 days.

Please note that a small change fee is required if changes are made within 72 hours. For changes made within 4 hours or less, we regret that no cancellations are possible. We value your commitment to learning and aim to provide flexibility while respecting scheduling constraints.

Getting Started & Age Requirements for Badminton Classes

We welcome children as young as 6 years old to join our badminton coaching program and begin their journey with us.

We appreciate the enthusiasm for learning, but unfortunately, we can only accommodate children who are 6 years old or above at this time.

Our approach primarily revolves around organizing badminton classes based on skill levels rather than age ranges. As students begin badminton training at various ages, we structure our badminton coaching to accommodate learners’ progress and capabilities.

Yes, we offer trial sessions for newcomers. It’s a paid trial, and if you decide to enrol within 30 days, the trial fee will be refunded as a 1-lesson credit (valid for 30 days) for your next badminton coaching session.

For new learners, opt for Basic (Youth). If you have basic skills, choose Beginner Level (Youth) / Social (Adult) Level. Rest assured, our coach will assess and suggest the best program after your trial badminton lesson.

It’s important to mention that we don’t specialize in teaching special needs children. However, we do offer the option of private badminton lessons, with the requirement that parents/guardians are present during sessions. While our expertise is limited, we’re open to discussing individual arrangements to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment.
